Hint: She’s Had Your Number for Years

Is retirement different for men and women? YES!Women tend to live

longer than their partners, an average of five to eight years longer. They

also tend to retire earlier than men for various reasons.

Why does this matter?

Because, if you’re a woman, the length of your retirement presents a

challenge. You’ve got to plan so that your income and investments last as

long as you do. This particularly applies to you if you’re a single

woman or a widow.

The good news is that women also tend to be better investors than men,

more focused on long-term decision making and on cash flow needs.

Over the years, we’ve witnessed a pattern.

Many of the women we work with want to educate themselves before investing.

This has been a wonderful trait to see.

If you’re unsure about your own retirement, or if you just want confirmation

that your investments are set up properly for you and your partner, we can

help. We’ve been working with women in retirement for decades.
